Lefkada Island at its best!

Lefkada (Λευκάδα) Greek Island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge. Approximately 30 min by automobile away from Aktion National Airport. Famous all over the world for the exotic beaches, a fabulous place to visit for summer vacations.

This island of the Ionian Sea, geographically located west of the Greek mainland, has the most amazing sea color. Beaches, like Porto Katsiki, Kathisma and Egremni, are among the most photographed and visited places in Greece.

A journey to history

The name Ionian comes from the Greek language Ἰόνιον (πέλαγος), Ancient Greek writers especially Aeschylus, linked it to the myth of Io.

In most versions of the IO Legend, Io was the daughter of Inachus though various other purported genealogies are also known. According to some sources her mother was the nymph Melia, daughter of the Oceanus.

In our wonderful garden, which lies directly behind Villa Kastri, you can relax between the lemon trees and palm trees. Enjoy the breathtaking view and listen to the birds singing.

Between the trees, that keep you cool during the summer, you can read a book or simply enjoy with your day with your family.

Located on a hill with views over the Ionian Sea and the island of Ithaki, Villa Kastri offers furnished accommodation set amidst lush surroundings with access to a beach through a private path.

Porto Katsiki Beach is 22 km away. Vasiliki is at 11 km and Nydri is at 21 km, both providing mini markets, bars and tavernas serving local specialities. The town of Lefkada can be found within 37 km.
